I am Plus’s Specialist Cashflow Manager. My role is to build bespoke financial and lifestyle illustrations to highlight the planning strategy of Partners and Advisers and the impact for clients. Demonstrating that good planning can serve to help ensure your future aspirational lifestyle choices can be achieved. I have been with Plus since early 2020, but have been building Cashflow Models for much longer.

I am Manchester born and bred, although I have lived in both the Isle of Man and Jersey. I live with my wife Maria, who I have been with over 33 years now, my daughter Jade and son Ethan. I am also a grandad to two granddaughters, with another on the way. Not forgetting the three cats! When John does get some time to himself, he likes to make things out of wood and play badminton.

I joined Plus Group as an Apprentice in 2014 and am now head of the Chasing Team. I undertake a variety of duties, including making sure daily tasks are allocated across the team, and stepping in when any of the team need any help, guidance, or if they just want a chat!

I live in Liverpool with my girlfriend Kerry and outside of work, I enjoy baking and watching sports. I also have an obsession with Food Network on Sky, and like to pick up tips on how to become a better home cook!

Before joining Plus, I was managing a tattoo studio and living the island life in Bali. Before that I managed a mens streetwear store in Newcastle, so I've definitely always had a fun workplace. I am currently based in Barcelona and live with my boyfriend Roberto, who owns a tattoo studio here. After leaving secretarial college I have had a varied career of customer service focused roles. Ranging from a showroom manager, HR and budget officer in the Home Office, administrator in a high secure hospital and then an office manager in a family run estate agents. In 1986 I started in Retail Banking and have worked in the Finance sector now for over 30 years, with the last 7 of these being in a SJP Practice in Dorset. We have been coming to Asia for between 3 - 6 months at a time for the last 4 years. We live in sunny Prestatyn in North Wales for the other 6 months of the year, and love living on the coast. I’ve been with PLUS since August 2014, not long after returning to work after having my Daughter, Isabella. I deal with most types of cases - investment replacements, Inheritance Tax (IHT), protection, pension transfers, Drawdown etc I have held my CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning & Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning since August 2014 and more recently at the end of 2021, gained my CII Level 3 Certificate in Equity Release and CII Level 3 Certificate in Mortgage Advice.

I moved over to Plus to feel part of a team of like-minded people and benefit from the support and training available. Prior to joining Plus my business was contracted to a pension compliance review for one of the high street banks, which lasted for 7 years.

I worked for senior management in SJP before joining Plus in early 2021. I love being organised, keeping people organised, never having two work days the same and learning new things.

Travelling, warm sunny days, baking, animals (although I would rather the creepy crawlies remain at a safe distance!)

DISLIKES

Rude people, being cold, early mornings and bananas.

I have always had job roles that are client focused, I gained experience starting in the hospitality industry moving on to banking, finance & technology. Here at Plus I am enjoying helping clients to get the very most from their experience using Fluid and SISOMA. I have been based in Spain for 20 years with my son but I am an Essex girl at heart.
